Sage creates safety to herself and her team wherever she goes. Able to revive fallen friends and stave off forceful assaults, she provides a calm center to a hellish battlefield.

Role: Sentinel

EQUIP a healing orb. FIRE with your crosshairs over a damaged ally to activate a heal-over-time on them. ALT FIRE while Sage is damaged to activate a self heal-over-time

This ability can be used with alt fire to heal Sage or with primary fire to heal a teammate at a medium range distance. After you use it, it goes on a 35-second cooldown which means you can get multiple uses out of it in a single round. Currently, this is the most efficient way to heal in the game and one of the best abilities in pistol rounds.

EQUIP a barrier orb. FIRE places a solid wall. ALT FIRE rotates the targeter

This is a crowd control tool. You can tilt it by holding down the alternate fire to turn it, or you can immediately rotate it by pressing the button again. It’s worth knowing that you can rotate it early in anticipation of needing it, put it away, then bring it back in it will remember where you had it last. Barrier wall is considered S tier among abilities in Valorant at the moment because it lasts for quite a long time. Enemies can pass it unless they have teleported or jump ability. However, they can break the wall by shooting it, but it takes a lot of ammo and reveals their position. You can place it just to block off chokes and access points. Wall can also be used to elevate yourself or a teammate to peek at a higher angle.

EQUIP a slowing orb. FIRE to throw a slowing orb forward that detonates upon landing, creating a lingering field thats slows players caught inside of it

This ability slows down all players by around 80% of their movement speed. If someone gets hit with this, they basically freeze in place. If the enemy tries to move their will be a ticking sound effect, revealing their location. Sage can get two of these and a wall so she has a lot of lane control tools in her kit.

EQUIP a resurrection ability. FIRE with your crosshair placed over a dead ally to begin resurrecting them. After a brief channel, the ally will be brought back to life with full health

You can stand near a teammate and after a short channeling phase the ally will be brought back to life which is quite strong. But possibly not the strongest part of her kit, especially in comparison to other ultimates in the game. As a Sage player you should typically try to play defensive on your own. Her crowd control utility is so good enough to stop a push and more you stay alive than more you can heal your teammates or resurrect someone late round.
